Dr. Ahmed Abdelhady is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery from the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized with multiple honors, including the Ophthalmic Knowledge and Best Grand Rounds Presentation Awards.
Dr. Abdelhady earned his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rowan University. His clinical and surgical expertise includes laser-assisted cataract surgery with premium lens implantation, corneal transplants, as well as LASIK and PRK vision correction.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Abdelhady is a published researcher with numerous peer-reviewed articles and national presentations on topics ranging from corneal ulcers and retinal diseases to ocular anatomy and infectious conditions. He is a member of leading ophthalmic organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Refractive Surgery Alliance.
